You Might Be Done But The Semester Isn’t
Keep calm…It’s nearly the end of the semester!
As the semester comes to an end, there are a few things everyone needs to remember in order to survive their dead week and finals week.
The fun list:
- Coffee, coffee…Oh and more coffee.
- Your favorite snack food. Always keep a bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos on hand.
- Fuzzy Socks and boyfriend’s sweatshirts (or oversized if you’re single).
- Random dance sessions. #BonItOut
- 30 minutes of exercise every day. Not only a stress reliever but a great start to that spring break body. #StrongIsSexy
- Ask the cutie in your class to go on a study date. There’s nothing wrong with a little extra help!
On the reals though…
- Make sure you’re maintaining a healthy diet.
- Exercise daily.
- Get at least 7 hours of sleep each night. Instead of saving all your studying for the evening, start earlier in the day so you’re getting to bed at a decent hour.
- Breaks are okay!! Study for an hour then take a 15 – 20-minute break. Don’t overwhelm yourself. If you over study you might do worse, so try not to overdo it.
- Create a study plan and follow through with it. You’ve been procrastinating all semester. Now it’s crunch time. Make your plan. Follow your plan. Succeed. #TheBon
- Use all your resources, whether it’s your textbook or the people in your class. There are no dumb questions and asking for help is never a weakness.
- Shut off your social media. I know it might seem impossible, but you will survive.
- Avoid “Netflix and chill.” You’ll have plenty of time for that over break. Your sweetie will understand.
- Stop stressing out!! Drop the drama. Let go of the emotional stress. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, grab another cup of coffee and take a few minutes to yourself. You’ll be able to come back to studying with a clear mind and fresh eyes.
- The most important thing you can do is stay positive. Everything will be okay. You just need to believe in yourself. This is what you’ve been preparing for and you’ll remember all of what you’ve studied. You got this.
Best of luck to all of you over the next few weeks. I believe in you and know you’ll crush all your finals! Keep your beautiful head up and kick your final’s butt!
